All this Wasabi talk had me prepare the most incredible lunch. Maybe a little bit on the exotic site, but I assure you, absolutely delicous! quick lunch (or snack) for 1 person: - 2 barely boiled eggs, chopped - 1/2 red bell pepper, finely cut - 5 tiny shallots or 2 green onions, finely chopped - 1 package Natto (fermented Soybeans), defrosted (if you cannot imagine eating Natto, or can't find it locally, replace with mushrooms) - 1 long red Thai Dragon Pepper, finely chopped for the sauce: - 1 tbs peanut oil (or other oil) - 1 tbs rice vinegar (or other vinegar) - 1 tbs soysauce - 1 tsp wasabi powder The most important task is to really disolve the wasabi powder in the liquid. Somehow, the combination of the Wasabi and the Thai Dragon in this exotic salad is just perfect. Anyway, that's how it felt to me at 2 pm this afternoon.
