I was at the 2nd opening day of Weis Supermarkets here in NJ today. In the produce dept they had little packages of habaneros for $1.99. Inside were 19 habs. Not bad. All different colors - yellow, orange, green. In great condition. They also carried jalapenos, and something they called Long Hot which looked like thai dragons or cayenne. They were $1.99/lb. I only bought the habs because I needed scotch bonnets for tonights dinner. I thought the prices were pretty good for what they were selling. Wish they had a bigger selection. Maybe I'll have a talk with the manager who I was getting good with!
