Will wonders never cease! My non-CH 15 year old son loves grilled stuffed jalapenos. I split the pepper on one side, clean out most of the seeds and ribs and stuff with cheese and ham. Our jals are big this year, about 1 1/2" in diameter and 3 - 4" long. I mix some ham chunks and cheese (whatever is in the refrigerator) in the food processor and whir it around a bit till it's mostly blended and stuff into the slit in the side of the pepper. Put it on the grill slit up and grill till tender. Great stuffed peppers! As per usual in the frozen wastelands of Norski Dakota, we've got more peppers than we can sell so we're canning a lot of salsa, gotta try Doug's chile sauce. BTW -- Doug can than be used as base for chili by adding meat and some more tomatoes, etc.? Thanks to all those that offered advise on habs in the greenhouse, they are producing more than we'll ever use. Must have 75 or more on the biggest plant. Aphids are a problem, as usual. Been treating every week with soap. Would like to fumigate with a stronger insecticide, but can't have the re-entry interval. We have to water by hand. Nels in ND
