>>Do I need to worry about cross-pollination or should my seeds be true?<< Lora, Cross-pollination is very possible with peppers. Here is what I do to save seed: Wrap stem below unopened blossoms with some cotton from a cotton ball to prevent insects from entering bag. Enclose buds with "bag" cut from a piece of nylon. (stocking, pantyhose etc) My girlfriend Bertha has lots of "blown-out" ones. Wrap twist tie or string around open end of bag and the cotton to enclose buds. Wait until fruit sets. Remove bag and mark the blossom stem with a colored twist tie or equivalent. Use resulting ripe pepper for uncrossed seed. John
