CH'ers, on saturday afternoon, the nice mail carrier deposited an envelope from uncle steve in my mail box (THANKS, UNCLE STEVE). it's a nice lil', portable, plastic 2 chamber S + P shaker (Smoked + Plain) with red savina powders ... a little smaller than a Zippo lighter. easy to carry in your pocket. (THANKS, UNCLE STEVE). so, i've never had the chance to try a red savina product before <virgin>, though i often get the orange ones easily found at the markets here in fort lauderdale. i like those a lot ... good heat, nice fruity flavor. however, the red savina is some kind of different heat! for breakfast on sunday, i did a bagel with cream cheese sprinkled with the plain RS powder. the other patrons at Einstein's bagels must have thought i was either an emotional wreck, coming off an overdose of Ghb, or just having a complete breakdown. i kept sniffling and wheezing, like my girlfriend had just told me she's leaving me for the pool boy (she hasn't, yet). she's not into the heat and thought i made a fool of myself. i had, perhaps, but so what. this is some fabulous heat. (THANKS UNCLE STEVE) for lunch, i reheated some bowl 'o green chile i made with local poblanos and cubanelles. the smoked hab powder was fantastic on this. what a great flavor ... and the heat! well, the green chile was right good, if i do say so, so how could it be hurt by adding some RS powder?! (THANKS UNCLE STEVE) so now, i've got this dilemma, ya see. this 'nice guy', UNCLE STEVE, turned me on to the joys of the savina, and i'm hooked. now i'm just another junkie looking for a fix (THANKS UNCLE STEVE). obviously, just like a dealer looking for a new mark, i've been 'found'; gonna get some more of uncle steve's stuff, but like a true junkie, i gotta get my own source also ... <must .. grow .. own .. stuff>. scott in FTL --> south FL is a great environment for growing; ready to experiment!
