I think Marilyn just hit on it. And the pepper "fruit" is not excluded in Arizona or California. Rich, you should print that out and take it with you. Most Arizona inspection stations are closed going into Arizona from California, but I'm not sure about coming into Arizona from New Mexico. As far as I know, the inspection station at Parker going into California from Arizona is also closed, if you want to go out of your way a few miles. I think you'll be fine bringing the peppers back, but if they do stop you at the border, just head on back to Yuma and mail them to me or Curt. :) Preferably me. One of my friends gets about 40 pounds of those New Mexico chiles every year, in burlap bags. She gets them from a friend, so I'm not sure how they are transported from New Mexico to California. > Unless I'm reading this wrong it says pepper "plants", not peppers. > > Marilyn http://home.earthlink.net/~socalsuz
