Forgive me for posting off topic, I know there are people on this list who lived in this area of NJ and are my age and might be interested. Anybody who attended Watchung Hills Regional High School or participated in the boys intramural sport programs in the mid-1970's no doubt either knew or knew of Vinnie Difazio. He and I often were at the back of the school bus being typical pesty teenagers. He was also a sports star in high school. Vinnie graduated in 1976, grew up,got respectable and died working for Cantor-Fitzgerald in the WTC attack. 705 of the 1100 CF employees worked in the WTC office. All died in the terrorist attack September 11, 2001. What a sad blast from the past in my local weekly newspaper, the Echoes Sentinel, last night, when I remembered why his name was so very familiar. This is really scary now knowing somebody who died. Driving to college class yesterday, I paused to consider this. How many of you drive past the Ethicon building on Route 22 West in Bridgewater? That building is 6 stories high. The WTC rubble pile is 7 stories high, covers 16 acres and extends down into the 6 sub-basements of the WTC. It is estimated to weigh over 100 million tons. It must be immense. Lastly, UPN is still not on the air in the NJ area. If it is not back in a few days, can somebody please tape "Enterprise", the newest program in the Star Trek universe, and mail the tapes to me, until UPN returns? I'll send dollars to cover postage and return the tapes. The series starts (in this area of the US) Wednesday, September 26 at 8PM. PBS, maybe channel 11 (I don't know who owns them) and Fox returned last night. Fox is OK but PBS has a pretty bad picture. ABC is really dreadful but broadcasting. So bad my sister can't get a watchable tapes of "General Hospital" and "Port Charles". Oh no, she's got soap opera withdrawal! Karen
