[CH] sweet, hot

I know some of you will think this sounds miserable:  An Egg McMuffin two 
hours old, and a jalapeno.  but it was nice...

I have to drop off one of Linda's kids at school before I go to work (notice 
I did not say "on the way") and we usually stop at a McDonald's.  I got a #1 
breakfast that has been sitting and waiting for me to get to it.  Yesterday 
someone left a bag a short jalapenos in the break room, and I took four.  I 
sliced one of them into the muffin, starting from the tip of the pepper.   
Half the pepper made one layer, but it tasted like bell peppers (or what 
bells should taste like).  So I cut up more, and made another layer.  When I 
bit into it, I could distinguish the flavors of the two layers; it was a 
combination of that sweet red bell flavor with a fresh jalapeno spike.

Now I'm sitting here with hunan eyebrow, and one nostril running.  The 
coffee will taste like gasoline for another few minutes.  Breafast of 
Champions.

I'm hoping to make it to the Ohio Chile Pepper Festival in Gloster tonight, 
but I don't know if that will work out.  The show runs through Sunday; any 
C-Heads able to make it to southern Ohio ought to check it out.
