I wanted more. * Exported from MasterCook * Stir-Fried Shrimp & Asparagus Recipe By : RisaG Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dish Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 tbsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp vegetable oil 2 lg onions -- peeled, sliced thin 1 lb large shrimp -- cleaned & devein 1 lb thin asparagus stalks -- trim & cut thin pc* 1 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp rice wine 1 bunch scallions -- sliced thin chile paste -- ** see note In wok, or large nonstick skillet, heat on medium heat. Add sesame seeds and toast by sauteeing them in dry skillet or wok until light brown. Do not burn. Remove and reserve. In same wok or skillet, heat vegetable oil. Saute onion until it is golden brown; add asparagus and cook until tender - about 3 minutes.* Add shrimp. Cook until no longer pink. Add soy sauce and wine. To serve: Serve over rice or put on the side of rice.
