Typical inner suburban sydney garden here - viz small. ummm, well.. big you say.... i'm growing them in large pots. i do have a lot of space, but it's concrete. i'm growing twenty nine chilies in pots (including the rocotos) and a dozen or so in the ground. i bought some seeds mail order from the US and have gone a little crazy. at first i thought that i'd raise a good number of seeds so that i'd definitely have some of each of the varieties that i bought, but i got a fairly good strike rate and then couldn't bear not giving them a chance to grow. i was going to put more in the ground but there is a chance that we will have to move in the next 12 months so i've put most of the one's that i want into a good sized but transportable pots. my wife has nearly gone mad, as i've been continually picking up pots on sale, saying 'this is the last time..' phil (in oz).
