> Actually, the WAV file is Miss Dewi pronouncing her own name... phonetically, I think it would be like "day-vee", although even after listeng a few times, I'm not sure if the "w" is pronounced as a "v" or a "w". > > Darn... I kinda liked my version. LOL Must have listened to it a hundred times & never did really figure out the first letter. Just took a stab at it. Thanks much Russ. Hi Russ and John, Yes, I'm trying to pronounce my name. While I was working at a diner in FL, my manager noticed people had trouble pronouncing my name from my ID tag. They would say Dewey. So I made a sticker with the right pronounciation which caused greater confusion. It said Day-we but people would pronounce the W whit too much lip while it is easier to sorta bite your bottom lip while buzzing the W. Does this make sense?!?!?!?! So finally to make it easier for everybody my manager just said to call myself Davey as in Crockett. So I went from Huey, Dewey and Louiey to Davey Crockett. But it worked I guess. On topic: I'm drying a bunch of chiles on top of my fridge. I want to try and make some chile powder. I now have Siberian Indoor, Prairie Fire, Piri Piri, Jalapeno, Cerasella and Santaka. But they don't feel dry yet. But then again the Chipotles don't feel dry either. Can I just stuff them in a blender even when I'm not sure? Help would be much appreciated. I also have trouble getting into the archives. Thanks every1, Miss Dewi CH#2192 http://www.chilechick.tmfweb.nl
