~Well, Linda and I are looking at the forecast for the fields ~weekend, and I ~regret to say it looks a lot like last year's wet and blustery weather. ~Long sleeves and substantial shoes will be in order. ~ ~Anyway, we've scrubbed the idea of camping in the fields and we're going ~with the hotel option, probably somewhere off the Indianapolis outerbelt. ~So, before I make any reservations, I'd like to ask of the various others ~who are doing the same thing, are there any particular hotels ~where I could ~find other Heads? No way am I leaving the fields for some hotel just 'cause of a little weather. I might leave briefly for a tavern or restaurant, but that's it. Besides, Jim is still planning to have a tent there, right? Since I'll be one of the first to arrive, I'll help put it up if help is needed. I've been watching the weather at the following link (which will surely wrap): http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USLocalStd.asp?loc=usinct1437&seg=LocalWeat her&prodgrp=Forecasts&product=Forecast&prodnav=none Earlier today the forecast for Bargersville (near the fields) looked cool but not rainy. But now it looks a little wetter. Either way, I'll have a cooler of Wisconsin brew on hand for keeping wet on the inside. For those that wimp out and go the hotel route, I happen to have added a lodging map to my website at: http://www.execpc.com/~mbens/ChileHead/openfields.html It's a large image that you'll have to scroll if you don't have a high-res monitor. I had to make it big to in order to get lots of info on it. I've never stayed at any the places, so I don't know about the prices or quality. There are many more places than what's on the map, especially closer to Indy, but I couldn't get any more one without cluttering up the image. Mike Benson
