Interesting sidelight to this is I bought so many "Screw Type" canning
jars over the last few years to put up my peppers that it was a financial
drain to give as gifts & presents to others who love heat. I was embarrassed
to ask for the return of the jars but I finally found a way to give gifts &
use the thousands of canning jars sitting unused in so many people's
cellars (Recycle & Reuse).
