Paul Here is a real cheap method, been around a long time.. Make a cup of tea, any kind.. Let it steep for about 4 min. Drink or dump it. Make another cup of tea using same tea bag. Let this steep for another 4 or 5 min. Mix this cup with water to make a qt/L. Cut a piece of paper towel so that it folds in 1/2 and fits on a plate/saucer. Open the towel up and place 1/2 on plate, Moisten with tea. Add seeds, fold over top 1/2, Make sure towel is damp. Place another plate/saucer on top of this and place in fridge overnight. Plant seeds next day/night. If on a heat mat, most seedlings will emerge in 3 to 5 days. Chilitipens listed to start in 3 to 5 weeks, will start in 7 to 10 days. My germination rate is in the high 90% range. L.B.
