Morning all! I was just getting brave enough to try and make some pepper jelly. I've got everything ready but just looked at the pectin packages my mother gave me and have a problem. They are old (I'm not sure if this would matter or not) and they are all for low sugar recipes. I'm bummed. I'm not going to drive 35 miles to the store just to pick up some pectin but I don't know if these will work with the recipes I have. Any ideas? TIA Lora
