They are for people who are allergic to latex. They let you work with small items/pieces just fine. I haven't given them a heavy duty test yet, but I will be working up a batch of Yellow Scotch Bonnets for sauce this week and will see how they do. These are YSBs from last years open fields, the ones that seemed mild at the time but now seem to be more in line with the heat I had expected (less than habs, more than cayennes).
