We made such a fuss that she brought out the chef and after more than a few raves he brought out his secret ingredient and the recipe for the marinade was on the label. What he showed us was a bottle of Jamaica-Me-Sweat made by Hot Damn under the brand name of Purgatory Pepper Sauce. The sauce has cayenne, Thai and scotch bonnet peppers and papaya, guava, pineapple, and bannana. The recipe was a can of seven up and 2 bottles of the sauce in a zip-lock bag.
