Thanks to the both of you. This is going to be fun. And to Dan Hirschi.... thanks also, but I want something simple for now. The orange juice part of your suggestion sounds wonderful and will try to incorporate that. And the more that I think about your recipe the better I like it. I have Mexican oregano, thyme & a couple of sweet bay plants growing on my deck now. Hmmmm....

If I understand things correctly; I can mix vinegar, olive oil, & hot pepper sauce or powder for a marinade. The glazes will have to wait. Simple guys like simple things.

As to online purchasing of sauces etc, I prefer to buy from people that I *cyber know* even if it costs a little more. Am totally amazed at how many different sauces are carried by the local grocery stores now. Just bought some Buffalo brand Chipotle sauce. Very tasty stuff. Noticed that it is marketed by Herdez. Says "Very Hot" on the label, although it is "very not"

My folks had a winter home in south Texas for about 25 years and would always bring me a case of Herdez salsa when they drove through KC on their way back home to Minnesota in the spring. Great stuff. They would buy it in Mexico, but a milder anglo version is available in most grocery stores now.

Thanks again,
JohnT
