I said I wouldn't post anymore on this, but, that second link photos really drives in the devastation. The first link - check out the remains of The Borders store. I just walked past there November 30, and stopped to check out their menu. Gone now. There used to be one of the "Painted NYC Cows" in front of it. http://www.geocities.com/ejerlin/ http://www.geocities.com/edkirij/wreckage.html Yes, I did get an extreme close-up view of the smoke in Lower Manhatten on September 12. From South Amboy, NJ. It was evil, billowing, fetid fungus like, black and sickeningly grey beige. After all these weeks, the endless pages of obits and "In memories" of victims are far, far less now. Some days none or one at all. Very depressing to see. An entire generation of children are hurting. I read that mentally, it could be seventy years (a generation) to recover. If anybody can. And, I wish they would stop that anthrax! Woodbridge,NJ is 15 minutes from where I work, half hour from home. I'm driving to Florida tomorrow. From the US hotbed of international terrorism and anthrax to Hurricane Michelle. Yikes! Signing off, Karen E. Stober kstober@skyweb.net kstober@us.ibm.com
