If I remember correctly (I might not....), you are in Southern California.
If so, you can most definitely get an injector from BBQs Galore. They sell
pretty high-quality (read: high-dollar) injectors that are, I mist say,
very nice. However, I purchased one of lesser quality (that I am very happy
with) at Target (or Wal-Mart, or something like that). They are actually
pretty common nowadays.
That said, about 8 years ago when I was working in a Cajun restaurant I
wanted to deep fry some turkeys for a staff Mardi Gras party. I had what I
thought at the time to be a novel idea -- what if I could inject these
suckers before frying them? Looked high and low, finally ended up buying
what I think was a larding needle from a farming supply store -- entirely
stainless steel body, very nice ergonomics, and a stainless steel needle
with a 1/8" diameter opening!
Good luck.
Matt

Hi all,
Where can one go to to own an injector?
The Lechters close to my home has closed
and I have nowhere to go look and drool
at all those wonderful gadjets.
