I have been looking for a good sprinkling powder. I personally substitute chile powder for salt on many things, especially french fries. Although this can be a problem for non-CH's if too much is used. An example is what happened the other day. My wife was grilling mushrooms as an accompaniment to supper and thought that the chile powder would be nice addition. Thinking of me, she put too much on, and she actually couldn't eat them.
