Am pretty sure that no members of this list would open an attachment w/o a good up-to-date virus program. (heat makes one smart!) But just in case, would like to suggest this site for a check: http://www.pandasoftware.com/
Click on the "Solution" link to check for & clear your computer of the W32/Badtrans.B virus. (and others) There is also a free all-inclusive virus scan on the site.
I just in the last few minutes received my 3rd email with an attachment containing the above virus. It is supposed to be especially rampant in Europe.
BTW, I opened the 1st one even though it had been quarantined by my firewall. (no brains, no fear!) The panda site id'd and removed 68 versions of the virus (mutations) from my computer. Exciting for me, as I first used a computer in '69 and this was the first time I've ever had a virus and wanted one badly to play with.
Not smart enough to segue the above to be *on topic* so will exit.
