Yep, you too have the bug - Culinary Compulsive Syndrome.  It seems to be 
very prevalent among chile-heads.  At the hotlucks and even the open fields, 
people will practically chase you down offering samples of things they've 
cooked.  It's fun.

Then you probably know the state of mind I call an "ingredient frenzy" in 
which your imagination can shoot off and compose a complete recipe or meal 
in a few moments.  You could call it being seized by a culinary rapture.
