Sorry I lost track of the original post about chilefying veggies, but when we go to the in-laws, or my own parents, for dinner I take some basic crushed red flakes. I think this actually tastes better on the veggies than using hot sauce (which goes on the meat and potatoes). I have bottles of sauce that are kept in the fridge for me at both places.
