No-Bake Cocoa Hot Bourbon Balls
Makes 25
1 c vanilla wafers, crushed fine
1 c confectioners sugar
1 c pecans, chopped
2 Tbls cocoa
2 Tbls light corn syrup
1/4 c bourbon, rum or brandy
Your choice amount of favorite chile powder
Granulated sugar
Stir together crumbs, confectioners sugar, pecans and cocoa. Mix corn syrup
and bourbon. Add to dry ingredients, mix well. With wet hands, shape into
1" balls.
Roll in granulated sugar, nuts, coconut, or other user's choice*
Store airtight in cool, dry place.
The longer they are stored, the stronger they get. (this isn't bad) :-)
Do a 6 fold recipe --- makes 150
2 boxes of Vanilla Wafers 3D 6 cups
2 boxes Confectioners sugar 3D 6 cups
6 cups nuts
12 Tbls Cocoa (3/4 cup)
12 Tbls Light corn syrup (3/4 cup)
1 1/2 c. Bourbon, rum or brandy
Your choice amount of favorite chile powder
* If desired melt a bag of milk chocolate chips and a scant 1/2 t. of
butter in the microwave and dip each and set on wax paper.
