[CH] What I had for dinner tonight - Resturant

was at "Red Robin", Lakeforrest Mall, Gaithersburg, MD, USA, Earth.
(http://redrobin.com/, all standard disclaimers apply.)

I was sh** tired and only in the mood for a brew and a burger, when,
exiting the mall, I stumbled upon (almost literally) this place.

They got off to a very good start by having Yingling on tap, 25 oz (not
to be confused with OZ) mug for only $4.95, US (OZ is not usually that
expensive <G>).

I ordered a "No Passing Peppercorn Burger", having *bacon*, peppercorn
sauce, pepper-jack cheese, onion straws, fresh red onion slices, and
tomato slices on an onion bun. I asked if they would put some jalapeņos
on it also -- no problem, not only did it come with jalapeņos, but
"Jason" brought some more on the side, just in case (which was the
case). The cheese was made with black peppercorns, and the sauce was
made with green peppercorns.

One had to either use the knife and fork with this, or have a big bite
(as with I). It came with "steak fries" and Red Robin's own seasoning
(like "Old Bay", but without the bay).

Delicious. The jalapeņos were only slightly vinegar, and moderately
hot, as they were not "castrated", as with most restaurants nowadays
(that is they weren't par-boiled with the seeds and membranes removed).

After finishing the burger, I obtained another mug of Yingling, a (free)
fillup of fries and another (gratis) side of jalapeņos (no, the 2nd mug
of Yingling was not gratis).

My only regret was that I did not bring some of "uncle" Jim's hab powder
to sprinkle on the fries.

If any of you CHs out there happen to be passing through DC-Maryland and
have a spare lunch or dinner time, just drop me an email, I'll even buy
you a burger -- maybe even a Yingling.

Regards, Andy
