Jicama is a big ol root veggie with a sweet crispy flavor and texture that 
does well in salsas (I especially like it with mango, red onion and 
cilantro).    There is nothing inherently wrong with the Salsa mentioned 
for the quiz, but some of the real old timers on this list (Back when dinos 
roamed the net) will remember the incident well.

Somebody innocently posted a recipe for the Jicama Vidalia salsa when their 
mail server evidently suffered some sort of seizure.  Within days the list 
was spewing out hundreds of copies of that message, clogging everyones 
mailboxes.  Every once in a while when someone starts posting multiple 
copies of a note they are referred to as having gone into "jicama vidalia 
mode."
