Pods: It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can shed some light on the affliction besetting one of my pepper plants. I've posted a half dozen photos on a vanilla web site at: http://peperone.home.attbi.com In November, I bought a bag of dried hot peppers at a market in Siena, Italy. They were marked "zenzeri essiccati picante". The "dried" and "hot" part were easy, but I had to do a bit of research to define "zenzeri". It means "gingers": apparently small peppers are colloquially referred to as "gingers" in parts of Tuscany. Anyway, I germinated a few of the seeds and ended up with two seedlings that I labelled "Zenzeri". One of them is fine, but the other has been stunted and rather ugly from pretty early on. I've gave up on it and even left it on the porch a few cold evenings, but it held it's own... so I decided to try to find out the nature of its affliction so I can possibly avoid it in the future. I'm guessing it's a viral problem but that's entirely a shot in the dark. Any info from the considerable collective cognitive capacity of this List would be greatly appreciated.
