[CH] seeds: in and up

   I started this year's batch of seeds germinating: aji amarillo, ancho
gigantia,
kalosca paprika, guajillo, tepin, datil and mulato isleno.  They went in the
potting
soil 2/18 and so far (2/23) the aji amarillos are the first ones up.  Not a
big surprise
since I ordered them this year and the rest are holdovers from year(s) past.

   The first thing to sprout was a weed that hitched a ride in the off-brand
potting
soil I used.  That'll teach me to not mix my own, even if I am in a hurry.
