I just wish to thanks everyone for there response to my plea for dried chiles. I know a few of you suggested growing them. If any of you remember me before I moved I had a huge garden and used to always grow my own. But since I moved out here to the country I have privacy but my yard is all shale. One of these days I plan on making a raised garden but it is sure easier to buy the peppers year round. Plus I dried 75% of my peppers anyway so if I can buy them already dried I am happy. Plus I have managed to get my local giant eagle to order me fresh habs. I need to buy them in 5# batches but that is fine so I just throw them in freezer bags. Mainly thought I dry them up and grind them. I have ground peppers in my car my wife's car at work up in my kitchen and down in my room. The only thing that I miss is making hot sauce but I need more than habs to make that. Plus Russell gave me an address for a farmers market up in Erie that carries peppers and they are only about a 3 hour drive from my house so I plan on making a road trip. So thank you to all for you help!!!!! __________________________________________ I hope that life is not a big joke because I don't get it. __________________________________________
