My wife and I toured Australia, 360º around, Canberra-to-Canberra, this past summer....we found no shortage of hot foods, either in markets or in restaurants. Even the ordinary supermarkets (e.g., Woolworth's) had a nice variety of hot sauces and fresh chiles. Be sure to visit the various street and indoor markets....Patty's in Sydney, the city market in Freemantle (Perth) and the night market on the beach in Darwin....if you get that far! Look for the Asian stalls and try their home-made chile relishes. Numerous Thai and Malaysian restaurants everywhere you look! Have a great trip! Myron PS So many coffee shops! Try a "Mugaccino," a cappuccino in a mug! About $1.00 (US).
