Lucky you, Harrogate has some of the best Indian food in the world! I have to admit, when looking for a culinary treat, England isn't exactly the first place coming to mind. However, there are some great highlights concerning food. One of them are of course all the international restaurants in London. The other one are Indian restaurants in Harrogate. For several years we went to Cheltnam for a week at the time. I enjoyed the Indian food there much more than here in the US. My husband was always saying: wait until we get to Harrogate. So on one of those trips we made it for a long weekend to Harrogate, just to have that famous Indian food. We started at the Harrogate Tandoori. I fell so much in love with it that we went back again and again (it didn't hurt that they also made an incredible tasty chai). Anyway, according to Mark, who has been to Harrogate many more times than I, just go to the town center. There are between 10 and 12 good to excellent Indian restaurants. And of course don't miss the Harrogate Tandoori. Please give us a report back of what's new and how you like it. Enjoy Harrogate to it's fullest!
