I have been collecting hot sauces since about 1992, it all started when someone gave us a case of Crazy Jerry's for a wedding present (I guess that should say something about my love for heat: hmmm, I'll register for Lenox china and hot sauce?). My pride and joy would be the bottle of Andy's Cajun Spitfire (Snapple bottle, Very Fine juice lid) and my bottle of Suzys (which had the same type of packaging at the time). My collection got as high as about two hundred...I stopped collecting when my husband brought home a bottle of Colon Cleanser. When the names started getting too disgusting, I had to stop. But then again, I started making my own and had to start collecting batches. I also have a friend who was a touring musician, we traded obscure sauces for awhile... As far as peppers ruining the taste of everything? Cigarettes ruin the taste of everything, peppers enlighten the flavor! I've always said, if it weren't for heat, I would weigh nothing (since I can't eat without it!) Be well, all, -Janis
