>From: "The NorthEast ChileMan" <thenortheastchileman@attbi.com> >Entry Word: irritate >nettle, peeve, pique, >Entry Word: stimulate >pique, quicken, rouse Huh. I was going to say that "pique" would be a good choice since it appears in both sets. Then I looked in this 1970 American Heritage Dictionary I have in my cubicle, and pique isn't even listed as a verb. It only appears as a noun for resentment or vexation from hurt pride. However, we do have piquant, "(1) Pleasantly pungent in taste or odor; spicy. (2)Pleasantly disturbing, appealingly provocative." I like those last two. - A _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
