Friends, I have some good news. Some of you may have already had this. Some of you know that I am a Civil War reenactor. While out at our training weekend in Ohio, I gave away several bottles of my FRED hot sauce and was well received. A friend of ours, who was also our host for the weekend, insisted on giving me some jalapeno microwave popcorn that his father grows, packages, and sells all on his own in Iowa. The popcorn is called Pudenz Popcorn. I think they sell both microwave and regular popcorn. But, what I got was the microwave jalapeno popcorn. This is ALL natural. He uses jalaeno flakes. His ingredients say jalapeno flavor. But, I'm doubtful it's artificial. Most stuff with jalapeno flavor turns green or is some weird color. When this popcon pops, it has just some speckling of green here and there. I was amazed at how subtle but GOOD this was. I don't think it was intended to be overly hot, but subtle with the jalapeno. You taste the jalapeno and there's some heat, but it's a good balance! I wish I could tell you guys where to find this stuff. Supposedly it can be found in some grocery stores in Iowa and in some farm markets here and there. I already consumed my three bags of popcorn. I gotta have more! ;-) Anyway, good popcorn, not overly hot, tastes good, well balanced with flavor. Ted __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? LAUNCH - Your Yahoo!
