It's a while since I was last in Santa Fe (July 99), so this info may be dated, but the last time we visited friends there the following places stood out: The local place to be is Tomasitas. It's an old train carriage. We never did get to eat there: we aren't used to 90 minute waits, but it's always packed, and came highly reccomended. For great Italian, The Palace (not far off the main town square) is a good, up-market feed. I saw my first 8 year old in a suit there. I can remember that they had a spaghetti with salmon, white wine, spring onions and tomato that was to die for. For a good informal feed, the Blue Corn Cafe does well also. Nice fajitas, of both the carnivorous and vege variety. Can't remember the address, but they were out of the centre of town a bit, on the way to the Fairfield Inn. I can't say that I found anything really hot in Santa Fe, but the above did good food: and I can be very fussy. Tara
