I was at the WV Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festival today helping my mom sell her home made Teddy Bears. I always go around and check out the food vendors, last year there were a couple with some good tasting hot sauces but none with any real heat. Well, today I came around the corner of one of the tents and saw the Chile Man, up from Loundon County VA. What great luck, I would finally get to taste some of the local REAL hot sauce. I left with tears in my eyes and several bottles of hot sauce and hope to make it to this years open house in September to pick hot peppers since most of mine got killed by the frost after Mothers Day. The festival runs thru Sunday if any local chileheads are looking for a great festival plus one that has some real heat in it for once.
