Rocotos are cool-climate plants, which come from the mountains (about
4,000 feet, I believe).

Soooooo - they should be planted on the north side, with some shade.
They also like it wetter than my other peppers.

Hard to grow where I am (Virginia) - too much summer heat!  But I
persevere; sometimes get a few off of each plant.
