Greetings, Lurker "Tony" here. Need some suggestions. Background: I'm in Northern Virginia. I have numerous plants potted on the deck. Long Red Cayenne, 2 Jalepeno, Firecracker Piquin, and a Tabasco. Just went to do my daily check, and morning water, and noticed that one of the younger cayennes had some holes in the bottom of the fruit. As I looked at it, the fruit fell off. On opening it, I found a brown stripped small worm/grub inside. The intruder is about 3/4 of an inch. Question: Anyone have an idea as to what the thing was? I am concerned about future occurrences, but currently don't have any other signs of invasion. Except for the little bit of Miracle Grow that I occasionally use, I would rather avoid using other chemicals, and am looking for a more natural solution to repel these things. TIA for any help Ton B --Tony Bread is Life. While Man cannot live on bread alone, Man cannot live without bread.
