'Heads, Tried a new sauce yesterday: "Vigo Calypso Heat" - The first ingredient is vinegar, so I was a little hesitant, but the next three are Mangos, Habs., and Jalapenos. It actually tastes far less vinegary than it smells, and isn't nearly as hot as I thought it would be. Not a bad sauce. If you try it, be warned that it has a restrictor top, but still pours out pretty quickly. Also, I've lately been enjoying the "Tapatio" sauce many of you have no doubt seen advertised in "Chile Pepper" magazine. I was quite surprised to see this stuff show up here in WI, after seeing the full page ads in "Chile Pepper". It looked far more like something you would see on the West coast, than something sitting on a shelf at the local "Piggly Wiggly" for a mere $0.89 (or was it $0.98???). Pretty good stuff; and though the label states only that it contains "red peppers" (no vinegar!!!), it seems hotter to me than the above mentioned Hab. sauce. -- Erich C-H # 2099
