Ok, new soil, new conditions.....about 80% of my plants are stunted and yellow. Soil, heavy clay...has had peat and manure mixed into the soil about a month before planting. Also had some gypsum broadcast over the entire yard, including the garden, about 3 weeks before the garden had peat and manure added. Garden in it's current location gets about 70% direct sunlight through the day. We've had a VERY wet spring. At first, I thought, well, too much water...leaves are yellow...still yellow. The soil stays quite moist about 3-4 days after a rain. However, drainage is good....no standing water. But, most of the plants are stunted. The majority of the ailing ones are no taller than 10" tall with small leaves. However, I have FOUR plants, cherry hots, which are doing quite well. I did a medium fertilizer, it was a 10-10-10, back in early June. The tomatoe plants are average height, but they are also suffering from sparse leaves and some yellowing...poor production too. The corn we planted in the back row is stunted as well...probably no bigger than 3 feet or so. This is the first garden I've had this kind of problem...well, any problem for that matter! Typically, everything grows like gangbusters! Any ideas?
