 The latest issue of Chile Pepper Magazine has a caledar for September and 
October.

It lists the International ICS World Championship Chili Cookoff in Reno NV on 
October 4th to 6th.

It also lists the Bowers Festival on September 7th. Here's what it says:

"The largest event of its kind "Up North", the Bowers fesstivval gathers some 5000 
people for spicy food from all over the east coast. Three time jalapeno eating 
champion Doug Barnhart will defend his crown."
