[CH] Pepper content in office mail

Well, the home gardens are yielding their harvests, and it is an excellent
time to have a reputation as a chile-head in the office. Various co-workers
who planted peppers in the Spring, for reasons known only to them, now have
peppers they have no use for.

I guess that cute little habanero plant in the nursery store is like that
cute little alligator in the pet store...

This morning, in my mailbox in the copier room, someone left half a dozen
pods that look like caribbean red habs. I showed them to my manager, who
said he didn't know habaneros could be red. (I know he has a few orange hab
plants, I'll bet some of those show up.)

So on my lunch break I built up a nice salad from the bar at a grocery
store, brought it back to the office, and I sliced up one on the pods.
("What an aroma! This is the best I ever got off! What can I say about
this elixir?!") I made a minefield of the salad and added dressing. Oh,
those red slivers look beautiful with bean sprouts and shredded carrots.
I've only had one or two mouthfuls, and I haven't hit a piece yet. I
thought I should post this while I can still see.

Do tears harm keyboards?
