Greetings, all. We're having our 3rd annual harvest fest & open house (free!) this Saturday, Sept. 21, at our chile farm in Loudoun County, VA. It's from 11 am - 4 pm, rain or shine (we'll cover up under tents, on the porch, and inside if it rains). We have nearly 2,000 pepper plants, along with flowers, tomatoes, berries, and lots of herbs to see (and taste). Of course, we'll have samples of all the products, too. Children are welcome, as are coolers - stay and have a picnic, right in the shadow of the Blue Ridge mountains! The Appalachian Trail is above our property, with great views only 1/2 mile from the trail center. And we can send you to two of the best wineries in Virginia, Breaux and Loudoun Valley Vineyards. Both are within a 10-minute drive of our place. We're 60 mi. NW of Washington, D.C. and 70 mi. SW of Baltimore, MD. Please send me requests for directions off-list if you'd like to come. Hope to see some of you this Saturday!
