Well, I tasted the new sauces. My favorite is
definitely the Arbol one. More heat and flavor, I
think.
I had it on the side of some meatloaf tonight, instead
of catsup (catsup has sugar and carbs and hot sauce
has no carbs - another great reason to use it). It was
delicious. It was hot with lots of flavor. I loved it.
The only thing I'm not happy with are the extra
ingredients that I think are unnecessary - chemical
stuff - sodium this and that. Why? I can understand
the xanthum gum - for thickening and I know that isn't
a chemical but a real natural substance. I also don't
understand why the citric acid. Doesn't need it.
Oh well .The taste is still quite good. I have a
feeling at $1.49 a bottle, I may be going through it
quite fast.
Next time I am at Shoprite I might pick up the other 2
kinds - there were also Goya coupons right under the
bottles. 50 cents off and double-able. Yee Ha.
They were also on sale for 99 cents a bottle. So the
bottles were basically free with the coupons. What a
deal.
Just thought folks would like to know how the sauces
were.
Off to sleep,
RisaG
