Oh, that first taste got me a bit; made me say,"Whew." But it got better
and better. I really like horseradish. I have tubes and tubes of wasabi
laying in the refrigerator. I'd just never considered adding chile to
it. Now I will.
Actually, my past stupid-eating-peppers phase of life has kind of jaded
me: A friend just brought me 3 ounces of fine-dust "picante" green
chile-powder from New Mexico. It is really good in slaw. But it ain't real
hot.
Now a teaspoon of the old Ralph's Revenge, or another one of Father Jim's
Habenero pulp, now that is *hot.*
