You've all probably seen nature photos of some flower that has some kind of
bug or spider evolved to perfectly match its color and form. Well, so it is
with shredded carrots in my lunch salad, and thin-sliced orange habs. I
still have a bowl of fresh habs from the fields, and it's getting to be a
use-it-or-lose-it situation. Today I made a salad at the store on my lunch
break, took it home, and sliced a hab into it. Then I added another hab.
Now I'm back in the cubicle, hissing and gasping my way through an edible
minefield.
