I guess I should have stated this in the pickled egg recipie...as with all home canning and cooking, proper sanitization and anti-bacterial measures are required. I sanitized the pickle jar and the turkey injector in the dishwasher (mine has a "sanitize" button that meets some kind of food prep code), the sauce was boiled for about ten minutes. I made sure that more than 50% of the liquid in the jug was vinegar (a preservative). All proper precautions were taken. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
