It will take on the marinade flavor just fine. It will even dry well in a dehydrator, where many fine blends of chile powders can be successfully applied. It will look, feel, smell and taste like a delicious delivery device for El Grande's wonderful creations. But after three or four pleasant chews it reverts back to its original form in a most unappealling manner. The only accurate description I know of is, "It's like a mouth full of snot". Scott...
