  Now Jim, I reckon I'm close enough to be considered to be in the same
parts as you; lotsa' apple processing going on here in SE WI, anyway.  But I
never knew about the single vs. multiple varieties deal.  I just knew that
cider has a fuller body, and more flavor than the more "watery" juice
(depending on what brand you buy).  Sort of like a decent beer, as compared
to the general American pis...  well, never mind.   ;-)))
